Number of Games: All teams are guaranteed 3 games.
Age Groups: Boys and Girls ages U7 through U15 both recreational and competitive teams welcome. (No Select Teams)
Eligibility for Competitive (Travel) and recreational teams: This is a USYSA sanctioned tournament under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey Youth Soccer Association. All teams must be affiliated with the USYSA and must be in good standing with their state association. All teams must be made up of players registered with one soccer club. Secondary cards will be accepted. No All Star teams or select teams will be accepted. Player’s rosters are limited to 14 players for ages U7-U10 and 18 players for ages U11 through U13. For recreational level teams, no carded players are allowed to participate in this group. No team U-10 or under will play up under any circumstances. All teams must conform to FIFA and NJSYSA age groupings. Roster sizes are the same for competitive and recreational teams.
Awards: For all participants ages U-10 and under, a participation award will be given to each child. For ages U-11 through U-15, awards will be given for 1st and second place teams.
Guest Players: A maximum of 4 guest players will be allowed. As stated above, all players must be registered with one soccer club.
Registration: All teams must register prior to the tournament on Friday June 20th, 2008 between the hours of 6pm and 9pm at the Bey Lea Soccer Complex. Teams playing on June 20th would register just prior to their game. Player passes, copies of players birth certificates, certified state rosters and notarized medical release forms must be presented at registration. No player will be allowed to participate in the tournament without the proper documentation.
Referees: A USSF Three man system will be used whenever possible for all matches ages U-8 and above. One referee will be used for all U7 games.
Tournament cancellation Policy: If the tournament is cancelled before the start of the tournament, at least 80% of the team’s entry fee will be refunded. Reasons for cancellation might include, weather, field availability or tournament committee decision. This is in accordance with NJSYSA rules.
Application: Applications must be submitted by May 25th, 2008. Fees are $375.00 for U7 through U10 teams and $400.00 for U11 through U15 teams. Please note all travel team applications must include a copy of your state approved roster. Checks or Money Orders must be made out to TRSA. Acceptances will be mailed or e-mailed on or about June 10th, 2007. If and entry is not accepted, the fee will be fully refunded. If a team is accepted and drops out for any reason, the entry fee will be forfeited.
Patches: The exchange of team patches or pins is strongly encouraged. All participants will receive a commemorative tournament patch.
